If you want to get more viewers to your blog or YouTube videos without spending money on advertising, doing keyword research is very crucial.
The whole point of doing keyword research is making sure people are actively searching for the keyword you’re going to be creating content about and you also want to make sure there is not going to be a lot of competition for the keyword you will be targeting.
If no one is actively searching for the keyword or there is a ton of competition you will not have a chance to get that specific keyword ranked on the search engines and it will just be a waste of time and energy.
I have personally been using a keyword research tool that makes it very simple and clear as night and day what keyword to choose to create content for.
The Best Keyword Research Tool
There are a bunch of good keyword research tools out there, but some are just to over priced and some don’t tell you the important information you need to know when you are doing keyword research.
I have been personally been using the Jaaxy Keyword Research tool for over 3 years now and still love it to this day and highly recommend it.
You can actually try it out for free and give it a try.
Type in a keyword and hit search.
You will see how valuable the Jaaxy keyword tool really is once you use it.
Now that we have access to the best keyword research tool.
Let’s start out by finding a keyword.
How to find the perfect keyword for SEO.
The VERY first thing you want to do, before you think about creating content is finding a good keyword.
This is the MOST important part of SEO.
If you have a keyword that no one is actively searching for or have a keyword that thousands of other people are trying to optimize their content for, it is going to be next to impossible to get ranked on the first page of the search results.
The very first thing you need is a general idea of the keyword phrase you are going to create content for.
Once you have a general idea in your head, go to the Jaxxy keyword tool and do keyword research.
Type in the keyword you have in your mind and hit search.
You are going to see all different phrases and variations of the keyword you will be searching for.
The next step is process of elimination.
You are going to scroll down through all the keywords and find the ones that get a decent amount of monthly searches but you want to also make sure the competition is pretty low.
From my years of experience. I would choose a keyword phrase that has lower competition than higher monthly searches.
In my own opinion I believe it is smarter to go for the less competition so you will have more of a chance to get ranked.
Especially if you are just starting out a new blog or YouTube videos and they don’t have much authority just yet.
As you create more and more content you will get more authority and then you will be able to go after the keywords that has more searches and more competition.
It is smarter to get your content ranked and get a few people to see it than going for the higher searched keyword phrases with more competition and you end up getting no one to see it.
I really hope you understand this.
Just to make sure, let me shoot a quick video and walk you through the entire process of finding a good keyword.
